One app · everything research
Everything a researcher works with, in one place.
Stop switching between a word processor, a spreadsheet, a slide editor, a PDF reader, and a code editor. Researium opens them all in the same project, with the same citations, the same git history, and the same AI.
Papers
Write in LaTeX, Typst, or Markdown with a live PDF beside you.
Documents
Open and edit Word documents (.docx) without leaving the project.
Spreadsheets
Work with workbooks (.xlsx, .csv): cells, formulas, and charts.
Presentations
Edit slide decks (.pptx) next to the paper they support.
PDFs
Read, annotate, and organize PDFs: combine, split, and extract pages.
Code and data
Edit scripts and data files with syntax highlighting, under git.
One editor · three formats
Write in the syntax the moment needs.
Write LaTeX, Typst, and Markdown in one workspace. Use each format’s supported citation, preview, and export tools, and compare how a passage is written in each.
Demo: the same short passage, a heading, a sentence with a citation, and a math expression, written in LaTeX, Typst, and Markdown, all rendering to the same live preview.
Currently showing: LaTeX.
AI beside your paper
Ask Researium AI research questions with your document as context. For assisted editing, connect your own provider, review proposed changes, and choose what to apply. Pro and Full include monthly AI credits.
More on Researium AICite as you write
Search your references, connect Zotero, pick a citation style, and insert citations into your LaTeX, Typst, Markdown, Word, and presentation files without leaving the editor. On the Full plan, see your whole project as a knowledge graph.
See the knowledge graphReal-time co-editing
Work across files in one project room with shared references, citation style, and an AI conversation. The film shows both collaborators on one synchronized clock.
One app instead of five
Stop juggling a separate tool for each one of these.
A LaTeX/Typst editor, a citation manager, an AI assistant, a collaboration tool, a notes app — most researchers run all five.

View allResearium is an all-in-one research workspace for your desktop. Write papers in LaTeX, Typst, or Markdown, open and edit Word documents, spreadsheets, and presentations, read and annotate PDFs, work with code and data files, manage your citations, keep everything under git, and ask the AI about any of it, in one app with one account.
No. Researium is one editor for all three. You can write a document in whichever format fits, and switch between them with the same live preview and export pipeline underneath.
Every AI request uses a few credits: longer documents and our most capable model use more. Your balance is always visible on your account's Usage page, and your credits renew every billing month. Requests made with your own API keys never use credits.
You keep them. Every format Researium writes in, LaTeX, Typst, Markdown, and every export target (PDF, DOCX, HTML, Sphinx), is an open, portable format that doesn't require Researium to open or edit.
